Billing & plans

This page is about your subscription to Acculio, not the invoices you send your clients (that’s Invoicing).

The free tier

Acculio is genuinely useful for free: time tracking, expenses, and unlimited clients and matters for a solo user, with record-level privacy included. Our costs scale with support, not servers — so a generous free tier is sustainable.

  • Solo adds invoicing, Stripe payments, finer rates, and LEDES export for an independent practitioner.
  • Team adds roles, matter-scoped access, SSO, SCIM, API keys, and webhooks, billed per seat.

Annual billing saves roughly two months versus monthly.

Add-on modules

  • Acculio Legal — trust / IOLTA, three-way reconciliation, conflicts, LEDES, and bar-rule compliance.
  • Acculio Ledger — a double-entry general ledger, trial balance, and QuickBooks / Xero sync.

Add-ons are priced per seat and can be assigned to only the people who need them.

Bar-association discount

Members of a participating state or local bar save 20% on every paid plan. Apply it during signup or from billing settings.

Managing your plan

Section titled “Managing your plan”

Subscriptions are handled through Stripe. Manage seats and plan changes from Settings → Billing, which links to the Stripe customer portal. Your licensed modules tie directly into the entitlements admin, so enabling a module never exceeds what your plan allows.
